Raipur: PS Shaikh Arif Husen took the charge of In-Charge Raipur Range IG on Monday. He was given a guard of honour upon his joining.
Husen took over from IPS Badri Narayan Meena.
Shaikh Arif Husen, a 2005-batch IPS officer,
an expert of community policing, which has fetched him international awards and accolades.
IPS Husen, who followed his father’s footsteps to join police services after software engineering, firmly believes that a strong cop community connect is needed to build a safe and crime-free society.
